Forgot to blog the last two nights. Anyhu! I want to tell you guys something funny. I left the National Library and accidentally left with the library's locker key and brought it home. It's hilarious. HAHAHAHAHA. Met Gwen at the library too, with her super high ponytail that looked like a volcano. Ok im joking.....maybe not hahahahahaha.

Today gonna be at home to do some important stuff. Later have to go to library to return the key which I took out and then might head down to Pastor's Stephen's meeting at Riverwalk if have time.

Still trying to sell my painting. Hopefully someone will be willing to buy it. I haven't really asked anybody yet. I dare not ask hahahaha.

Reading up about Church history now and Pentacostalism. Very interesting stuff, I didn't know John Wesley spoke in tongues too. In fact, if I remember correctly, I think John Calvin also spoke in tongues. Amazing!

Sad to say, my two brothers are gone for 4 months. No more spiritual buddies to cry and laugh with for 4 months. No L4D for 4 months. These two have been my best friends since Primary school, need to get used to life without my brothers around. Hope they will remain strong in God there and will have internet to talk to us via MSN, facebook or Skype.

Anw, tomorrow i need to start going back to school. enough slacking. prayer meeting this week feels a little dry, but thank God today I feel energized once again. Will be attending prayer meeting tomorrow in the evening, and in the morning on friday.

Have been crazy about doing video on fb, so I'm gonna start doing video blogging too. Hope you guys enjoyed the birthday video I did. Anyway, got to finish writing my EE and TOK essay. Need a lot of help. God help me to push up my grades and get this through once and for all. Love God so much, He never fails to strengthen me and never fails to support me whenever I'm out to serve His purpose and out to do something great. even in hard times, He is still right beside me and in me, telling me that He is always with me. To God be the glory.

I'm feeling very nostalgic. I'm really gonna miss the House of God this Christmas and my spiritual family, City Harvest. I am already missing it. I want to celebrate Christmas in Church, where you can experience God together with everyone.

Last Sunday we celebrated thanksgiving with Sun. So happy she's back. I finally got a chance to see her in person. Her haircut is really cool, and her passion for God is as explosive as Pastor Kong. I'm so impacted by Pastor Kong and Sun, in whatever they are doing or have done. I'm more than happy that God chose them. However, being impacted is one thing, practicing what I've learnt is another story. I'm ready to fight through 2010. Gonna be praying as I enter the new year. Gotta start the year right. The best way to start the year is by seeking God first, and all that I need will be added to my days.

I've made my new year resolutions already. I'm excited for 2010, really. ok I'm at the airport now, gonna check in in a while bye! Merry CHristmas and a happy new year!

End of the Spear

Over the weekend last week, I was up late and couldn't sleep. So from 3am to 5.30am, I watched a movie called "The End of the Spear." It is quite a famous movie, and a very motivational one too. I encourage everyone to watch it. I am so impacted by how the Waodoni tribe in Ecuador's Amazon Basin experienced revival. I wish Singapore could experience another level of revival too.

In this story, one thing that many people can learn is the power of forgiveness and faith. Not just faith in God, but faith in others as well, the faith to believe in the impossible. People thought that it was impossible to reach out to the Waodoni, but 5 missionaries gave their lives in order to break that impossible-mentality. Today the Waodoni tribe has stopped its killing and the tribe population grew from 200 to 2000.

The Waodoni leader Mincaye, who speared Steve Saint's father, is now traveling around the world with Steve to share their testimony and to spread the gospel. My heart is just so touched.

The IB exams is just one week away. I'm quite nervous because of the pressure that IB brings. I've never felt this frightened. I just pray for God's grace and strength and presence to rest upon me. I believe I just need to give my best and let God handle the rest. I'm sorry i've not been blogging for a month now, been quite busy and tired. I believe even after I got killed at the prelims, I know God will resurrect me from the pit. Hallelujah!

In any case, I'm excited for AFA (Anime Festival Asia) 2009 at Suntec COnvention Centre. People are gonna dress up in their favorite anime characters and then J-pop singers are coming too. woohoo!!

ok, today I just want to end off by saying that I love my family, my friends and above all, my God. Pray for me guys.

My greatest wish is to finish that which the LORD has given me to do. AMEN!

The FInal Battle

The Final Battle of the IB Diploma Program is finally come. I'm tired and worn out. Afraid and don't know how I'll fair. Whether I've done well or failed badly over the last 2 years, the end result may turn out different, I do not know. However, I'm gonna be like David, I am gonna start killing bears and lions now before the big fight with my giants, with Goliath. GOnna start slinging stones now, practice for the final showdown. Pray for me people.

After exams, I'm gonna go for Anime Fest Asia, which is on 21-22 November just 3-4 days after my last paper. I'm gonna dress up as Hijikata again, from the anime Gintama. Speaking of Gintama, I won't be watching Gintama and Detective Conan for the next two weeks, I'm so sad. I might not even get to watch it until after the whole IB. Gintama is really funny. It is pretty much an anime with a whole load of crap and garbage, about stuff which makes 90% no sense, but that's what makes it funny and I like it.

september 1 - september 14

It is the final episode of ACS International for me. It's my fifth and final year here in this school. THe last 2 years has been the most pressurizing season of my life. I tell ya, IB is no joke people. Consider to be willing to make sacrifices before you choose to take IB. However, if you do succeed, the benefit of taking it will be worth it.

In any case, here is what I've been up to. Last week during the September school break, I went out with Sean and Xiao Jiao to watch Final Destination and it was a bloody sadistic piece of *beep*.

SO anyway, then we took some pictures at starbucks and went off. I had a long chat with Xiao Jiao back to the east. Surprisingly I found out last month that she used to be my neighbor for don't know how many years. THen I went off to play basketball with my Broadrick buddies.

ON Wednesday, I had lunch wtih my broadrick buddies at Marina Square's Hotpot Culture. Honestly, it is a complete ripoff I'm not going back there again. And then I went with cell group to Candice's condo at The Seaview for gym and the guards kicked all of us out for using the gym and the pool. What an ass! If I was a resident I wouldn't hesitate to beat his head with his walkie-talkie and ram him into the swimming pool with my bike.

then i will take frogs and lizards and shove it down his pants when he's unconscious. :D Well, that's how offended I was, but of course, I wouldn't do that because Jesus wouldn't like that.

I'm so sad, i havent had a chance to go to see the dead sea scrolls, planning to make a trip down this coming wendesday, 16 September. Wanna join me? then call me.

NOw got to get back to revision and prepare for tomorrow and the many days ahead. IB coming soon. I'm ready to slay some giants in my life. The next two months is gonna be fun.

FINALLY CAN BLOG AGAIN! WOOHOO!

OK I kept my promise

ANyway, August has been a stressing month for me.

So I'll just blog the fun parts

16 August 2009 was the last day of the Singapore TOy Games and Comic Convention. I had fun, met some new people. Not close yet, but at least got a chance to make new acquaintances, hope to get to know these people more. Most of these new friends are cosplayers. One of them is from Chung Cheng HIgh. He dressed up as Akito from Air GEar. I accompanied him to the convention as it was his first time cosplaying. So far, i think he is quite friendly, but I think he has his own heartaches too. Odd don't you think, how I can read people's hearts sometimes. Anyway, he is in sec 3.

The event was fun because everyone in costumes just couldn't stop taking pictures and smiling to each other. On the last day, characters from East and West Pop Culture all came together. I never felt so much fun in a long time apart from church. I'm always having fun with my spiritual family, but outside the church, I never felt so excited for a long time.

It was kind of awkward at the start because cosplaying is not common in Singapore. However, when you do it with a lot of people, it is actually quite fun. I'm definitely cosplaying again, and maybe even going for the competition in November.

My character was Hijikata Toushiro from the anime Gintama. He is from the team of Shinsengumi in the anime. I'll be dressing up again in the same costume in November for the November 2009 Anime Festival Asia.

I guess that's the only exciting thing so far. Sorry i cant put pictures at the moment, my blogger is quite screwed up i dont know waht happened, but i cnat insert any pictures. So if u have my fb u can view it. Anyway, that's all i have bye.

i just want to be happy

i've been thinking about my year and I realized how proud i have become in so many ways. i've also seen how unfruitful i've been over the last 7 months over many areas such as my studies, ministry and more. i pray that I can fulfill at least 80% of my goals this year.

i want to have better relationship with people i know in church and outside church. hopefully, the Christian Fellowship can grow too. I am training myself to get the best score for IB i can get right now.

sorry, i just typing my heart and thoughts out in this post, so readers just bear with me if u want to continue reading.

anyway, i also know that i've some other strengths which i don't dare to mention otherwise people think i'm boasting. my heart is tangled with so many emotions and my mind, thoughts - happy, sad, angry, encouraging....

thank God for His love and presence and peace.

FOP was great! I was so blown away on the last night. The message really got to me. I love God, my friends and family. I want to be closer to everyone of them. Church is really like family to me too. I was quite tired last weekend because serving for all 3 days. it was really fun though. :D

this week resumes, and i'm working on two new art pieces, can't wait to finish all my projects and homework and then can focus more on my revision and get the best score i can achieve for IB.

July 1-15

Here's an update of my busy life from 1-15 July 2009.

1 July, Wednesday, I had BS except I didn't go for Gifts of Holy Spirit Lesson 3, I went for AFV lesson 3 make up instead. Had a a great lesson on The Adamic Race, and I finally managed to give Gwen her birthday present after two months. That was the day I broke fast too and I went to eat Orh Luak (Fried Oyster) with Wei Loong after BS.

2 July I did nothing interesting, but I got very interesting news that the prelims were being postponed by one week. I was so happy.

3 July I went out for lunch in the early afternoon with Joshua and Jun Wen. We ate at quite a costly but yet affordable Japanese restaurant at Paragon called Akashi. After that I met up with uncle Michael for coffee at Starbucks and we had a long chat. From there, he drove me to Jonah's place. Then I went for cell group meeting again as usual and met for the last time at Jonah's old house because Jonah was moving house already. Had our meal at Bedok block 85. Wow I miss the food there. Then after fellowship at block 85, I went with quite a number of people to Plaza Singapura to watch Ice Age 3. We actually planned to watch Duplicity but the next timing was at 2am and everyone was so tired, so we just watched Ice Age 3 instead, anyway most people wanted to watch that show. Then went home after that in a cab, so tired.

4 July didn't go for service because it was Zone Decentralized Service weekend. All the zones were split up into different timings. Our zone was on Sunday at 12noon so didn't need to go service on Saturday. I can't remember what I did on 4 July.

5 July was our district services. So I was in church around 10am to get ready for our service. I was serving that day, and duty wasn't as challenging as normal weekends because not as many people as a normal service. I was so happy that Wein Yeong and Bryan came. I pray that they were touched by the message. After service I went with Wein Yeong and Bryan and Guanfeng to airport for lunch at Popeye, and then headed to Parkway because Bryan wanted to buy his ipod Nano. Then we walked around Parkway for about until 7pm and then we followed Guanfeng to watch him eat his dinner. After I saw them off at the bus stop, I went alone to eat at the Hong Kong Cafe next to Katong Mall for my dinner. I missed the baked rice there. Then I went home to slack.

6 July was Youth day, but I still went for tuition and that's all I did.

7 July to 10 July was the first week of school. On the first week I was late 3 times for school and skipped school one time.

7 July was a normal day back at school and then after that I think I went for tuition.
8 July was normal day too and I home to change and and eat, then went for Bible study after that.
9 July was a bad day. I shouted back at the school librarian because she was being a thorn in my flesh. I already spoke so soft to the point my friend couldn't hear me. I was just asking him to lend me some of his physics notes to photocopy and that dumb librarian said to me with a sharp angry tone, "PLEASE SPEAK SOFTER!" More than that, she gave me the very insulting face which just pissed me off. Anyway, I had fun talking back to her. I haven't apologized yet though. I don't intend to but it seems God wants me to make restitution. I'm like, "I didn't do anything wrong hello! It was her fault not mine. I just needed to photocopy physics notes and she scold me. PIANG EH!"
10 July, I skipped school and slacked at home. Not really. Was my study day, but instead, I went to Aunty Lily's house. Then I joined her, Laura, Lynn, Lorrain, Aunt Lucy, Pam and Jan for lunch at the Hilton. Food was great. After that I went to Iluma and Suntec to look for anime swords and to check on the prices for the Zaft costume at this time (GREAT S'PORE SALE). Then after that, I went home to rest and then went for cell group at Jonah's new house. Very nice. Then fellowshipped at a super lousy coffee shop, with stingy stalls.

11 July back to normal service and guess what? I wore my cosplay!!! I dressed up as a Shinsengumi in Gintama. People starred at me and some people didn't. Even bus driver look at me. My cell group members still so young, see me wear that thing all scared and laugh. Well, why did I wear that? I'll testify soon. Had a fantastic service with Rev. Dr. A.R. Bernard. I love his preaching, always takes me to the next level. Service ended late and nobody wanted to go airport to fellowship so I had to suffer in my costume at Bedok Central. The costume is more comfortable when in cool places.

12 July, I went for service on Sunday because Dr. Bernard was sharing a different sermon. Really mind blowing too. So inspired and motivated. I started practicing what I learnt in church. Then I left immediately after the message, and cabbed down to the American Club to meet my family to celebrate my cousins' 18th birthday. After that, I went home to sleep and to rest.

13 July, prelims started. However, I didn't have any papers on that day so I slept in a little longer and then I went for Math tuition. Had tuition from 4pm to about 8pm.

14 July, yesterday, had my first paper - Mathematics HL Paper 1. Doable, but I doubt a grade 7 is still possible. Lost quite a lot of marks on that paper. After the paper, I rushed off for math tuition to prepare for Mathematics paper 2.

15 July, today, was the most interesting day. I was 40 minutes LATE for my PAPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so frustrated because it was raining in the morning. I waited from 8.15am to 9.05am for a cab and finally a cab came aroudn 9.06am. The exam started at 9am. Then I took the least jammed expressway which was the ECP and I still managed to get through without my metre fare costing more than usual. It usually takes 20 minutes for journey time, but because of the jam, it took only about 10. I reached the room around 9.41-9.42am. The teachers kind enough to let me continue taking the paper praise the LORD. More miraculously, though I skipped some questions and though some of my final answers may be wrong, I still completed the questions I could give a shot in and the questions seemed to questions in which I already knew the methods for those questions. It is like after reading the question, I knew straight away which formulae to use. However, there were some I was not prepared for, or forgot the method so I skipped or did it anyhow. After the paper, I went for lunch with Aditya and Sidhant at Holland Village and then came back to school around 12.45pm to study for History exam which is tomorrow afternoon (THANK GOD!), from 12.45pm to about 3.25pm. Then I went for Drama CCA meeting and then I headed off to Riverwalk after that. Came too early, so I studied until 7pm and then stopped for half-an-hour with Gundam 00 and then went in at 7.30pm for my Bible study class. After that, I came straight home to blog some more. I'm gonna watch Gundam 00 now before I sleep.

June Report Part 2

Today I'm here to finish my report for the month of June 2009.

June has a been a tiring month and pretty much an enjoyable one.

Last week, I was reading and studying the book of Deuteronomy for the whole week. The book is basically a summary of all the laws and all the wilderness experiences which the children of Israel encountered so i don't have much to say about it. One thing I must comment from what I have learned is the lesson about the first and second wilderness experience which Pastor Kong taught during the last lesson of the Song of Solomon last Thursday, 25 June 2009. Want to learn more? You can pre-order the Song of Solomon series. I'll post a short post about what pastor Kong shared about the wilderness experience on my NEMA blog soon. Look out for it.

Last Monday I stayed at home the whole day, sleeping most of the time.

On Tuesday, 23 June 2009, I went to school to study for one whole day and I met Tara, Denise, Brandon, Subodh and Sean in the school's library. Tara and Denise were like, "Dennis, you're very skinny now. Did you lose weight?" In my heart I was like, "DUH!" The funniest part that day was when Denise came up to me asking me for my formula for losing weight. She was like, "How did you lose weight ah? Tell me." So obvious she wants to lose weight too. I replied saying, "It's a secret." Of course I can't tell her I was on a 30-day fast when she's not a Christian. Even if she is, she would start fasting for the sake of losing weight and not for the true purpose of fasting. I've been fasting and praying for breakthrough in my studies, my finances, for more family members to get saved, for revival in my campus, for breakthrough in evangelism, moving in the Spirit, and total humility and total dependency on God. I had no intention of dieting. So Denise if you actually pass by this blog, this is your desired dieting remedy - fasting - HAHA! That day I also spent time talking to our school's pastor.

On Wednesday, I studied at home for a while and then I went to Centrepoint before going to Bible Study with Nevin to buy some products from AHAVA for someone's present. The people at the shop are very Christ-like and friendly. In fact, the shop assistants are Christians! I went for Bible study after that at Riverwalk for Gifts of the Holy Spirit Lesson 2. Great lesson! This coming Wednesday I'm going for Authority for Victory Lesson 3 instead of GOHS Lesson 3 because need to make up. After Bible Study, I went home to rest.

On Thursday, I stayed home again to study for History again and then I went for Churchwide Bible Study, Song of Solomon Part 5 on Mature Love. Pastor Kong came back to close up the series. Went home early after that to rest and sleep.

On Friday, 26 June 2009, I went finally went for tuition. Then after tutition went to meet Xin Yi and Feng Ming for fellowship at Orchard. We actually planned to catch the 7.10pm show for I Love You Man at Cathay Cineleisure, but we were late and next timing was at 10 plus. So we didn't watch. We tried Plaza Singapura, Golden Village but there were only two shows available - Drag Me to Hell, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - because all of the cinemas were being occupied by Transformers at the same time. From evening till 11pm at night, every slot for Transformers was fully booked, so we gave up on movies. I followed them to Hong Kong Cafe at Plaza Sing where they unintentionally tried to tempt me to eat after learning of my fast. We left at around 11pm and went to play Left 4 Dead at a LAN gaming shop at Excelsior Shopping Centre. Played from 11.30pm to 1.30pm. THen followed them to a eating place again where I was not that tempted. They went to the beancurd shop at Selegie Road and going home from thereafter. Had a wonderful night.

Saturday was a normal service day in church. Pastor taught about something really simple, about following Jesus and living a new way in Christ. After that, our zone went to Tampines GV to catch the 8.30pm show for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The place was completely full even after 11pm. From there, I went with Lex, Jonah and Audrey to Katong (my hometown, can't wait to move back there) to play Left 4 Dead. Then I went home from there in cab.

Yesterday, Sunday, I went nowhere except my house. Slacked the whole day. From about 4 plus in the afternoon, I slept till 7.30am this morning (Monday, 29 June 2009), very slack right?

This morning, I woke up blogging and watching Detective Conan on Youtube. My favorite show :) I'll be heading down to the tuition centre later for tuition for Physics and Math in the afternoon. Very far leh.

Tomorrow is the last day of my 30-day fast, praise the LORD!!! I will be in school from morning till 3pm and then going for tuition again. That's all I have for the month of June. Thank you for patiently reading my blog. BYE! READ THE NEMA BLOG TOO!

June Report Part 1

Happy Fathers' Day to all fathers. I'm blogging a report about my stuff in the last one month. THis June is my mid-term holidays.

1 June I began my Annual-30 days of fasting and today is day 21. However, each time I grow weaker, God strengthens me even more. I've been trying to get a fruitful time in my preparations for my prelims next term which starts on 8 July 2009 for me. I've been trying to cope with my Art and getting my pieces done however still quite unsuccessful. However, I believe with much faith and determination, I can get things done. Not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God.

The first week of my fast and of June was great. Before my season of fasting began, God led me to study the life of Moses and the Israelites during my 30 days of fasting and praying. So I started my first week with the book of Exodus chapter. I learned something amazing about prayer which I have shared in my NEMA blog. I had an amazing time of vision and prayer that week. On 5 June, I went for the Song of Solomon Churchwide Bible Study Part 2, whom the speaker was Pastor Ye Peng, about Faltering Love which somehow at the end of the day tied in with what God taught me in the book of Exodus. 6 June, I had a wonderful time in church. However, one thing I couldn't do was to go for the Zone Outing at Roland Seafood because I was fasting.

Last week was the second week of my fast and the second week of my June Holidays. The second week was also our daily morning and evening prayer meetings. I didn't go for evening ones this time cause I was either at tuition, or at home seeking God and trying to study. Anyway, physically tired to go for evening prayer meetings. However, I still went for the morning sessions. Had a good one week of morning prayer meeting. Only got one morning I got irritated because while I was praying, Mak came and tapped me and I got really upset. Don't worry Mak, you're forgiven. I very sensitive when it comes to prayer, because I don't like people to disturb me when I'm praying. What was more irritating, was that I didn't bring my prayer booklet for five days. Well, it doesn't matter cause I'm there for prayer not for chops. :D

I finished the book of Exodus in the first week, so I went on to the book of Leviticus next. Very cheem! So many Laws!!!!! I'm like, "LORD! Why so many laws? So complicated!" Then as I spent time in the presence of God and in His Word, I then realized that it's not that hard to understand. The Book of Leviticus is just a simple book about Holiness and Moral Conduct and also a test of obedience and humility.

In the same week, God taught me about Humility and Brokenness which I testified on my NEMA blog as well. The date is 11 June 2009, go find it if you want to know more. On 10 June 2009 in my quiet time, I had an experience with God and the best time ever since the last emotional encounter haha! God gave me a new call for my life and I've started to be more pro-active in that call. Thank God for it.

In the same week, on 12 June 2009, Pastor Kong came back to continue the series on Song of Solomon Part 3, about Growing Love. Somehow, what God spoke to me about on 10 June 2009, was also about wilderness experiences and brokenness. We learnt the same thing in church that Friday night. Apprently I was gonna share with my two friends that same night when they were staying at my place about what God taught me on Wednesday, and somehow on Friday night, Pastor Kong taught the same thing. HAHA! What's more amazing, was that on 11 June, I was watching Joyce Meyer's program, and SHE TOO was preaching on the same topic of brokenness and trials! WHat a revelation! WOW!

13 June was our Celebrity weekend and an old friend of N262 came, Mark, to join us for service. He enjoyed himself I guess, even though half the time everything was Mandarin, which he can't understand. Zone event again after service, at Conference Room 1. We got up close session with Milk and FIR. I stayed for Milk but left after that with Mark cause we were tired and so couldn't get FIR's signature.

Third week of fasting and of the Holidays, time went to Mathematics and Art. Trying to finish my pieces and catch up on Statistics. Really nervous for Prelim exams. 15 June, Monday, was the halfway mark for my fast. Very skinny already. 15 June to 20 June, I continued with the Book of Numbers. This ONE IS REALLY A KILLER! I couldn't get much of what God was showing me. I said to God, "Why the Book of Numbers? It's ALL DATA! Like pork ribs with many bones but so little meat!!! What is there to learn?" (Ribs = Census, data, some laws) (meat = stories about the journey, what happened and some of the exciting parts). Then I learnt today, even in the Census, the names of some people played important roles. Apart from the part about Israel refusing to enter the Promised Land, I learnt about God's fairness in judgment. It ties in with the Song of Solomon message and the weekend service messages again, about the Moment. Which I won't share in this blog. Go read about it on NEMA blog tomorrow, 22 June 2009. Still, to give you a little background, it is about visions that have come to pass and yet when the moment comes, so many people back down in their faith. It's like a child who is impatient to get ice-cream. Then when his father gives him the ice-cream, he rejects it.

Anyway to end off, 19 June 2009 was Song of Solomon Part 4, whom the speaker was again Pastor Tan Ye Peng, on the topic of Transforming Love. Then on 20 June 2009, I missed the afternoon Zone event cause I slept in. Went for service and joined my cell group for fellowship after that at Simpang. Even though I didn't eat cause I was still fasting, I enjoyed chatting and building cell group time. Message was simple about God-given visions.

Today 21 June 2009 is Fathers' Day. I am a little disappointed cause I have no father in the house to celebrate Fathers' Day with since my parents divorced. One thing I did right was to spend time with my Heavenly Father the night and this morning. God answered my prayers and I smsed all the fathers I knew, including my own. Then, I decided to try to call my father again and to talk to him. The last 2 weeks couldn't get him cause he was away on business and I got really disappointed cause I didn't know about his business trip until today. Just when he wanted to call me after seeing my sms, I called him at the same time and he answered the phone and told me what I needed to know. This proves God to be ever more real in my life because just last night when I was praying, I asked God to let speak to my father today at least even though he may be busy and to see my father at least once a year like the previous 8 years since the year 2000. God answered a prayer today. I'll be meeting my father again soon HALLELUJAH!

The Holy Spirit is important (part 1)

I've been thinking about this topic yesterday: Have people forgotten the Holy Spirit? DO people really know who the Holy Spirit is?

I went for my CCA drama one day and one of my friends told someone else that the Holy Spirit is God's aura. Some people say that the Holy Spirit is lower than Jesus and the Father. I've heard people even in my school saying that the anointing and baptism of the Holy Spirit is not important. Who is God to us? How important is the Holy Spirit to us? Do we need the Holy Spirit?

First of all, the Holy Spirit is not lower than God. The Holy Spirit IS GOD Himself. The Holy Spirit is "God's Spirit" He is God. He is part of the Trinity.

Secondly, knowing that the Holy Spirit is God, it's obvious that the Holy Spirit is not important, but VERY IMPORTANT in all our lives. Why? Because Jesus says so!

John 16:7 - 8

⁷ But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.

⁸When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:

One of the reasons the Holy Spirit is in the world is to convict man of sin. In other words, the Holy Spirit is here to prompt us to follow a righteous path that is free from sin, to lead us out of sin and into the salvation of God. The Holy Spirit is the one that directs unbelievers to Jesus Christ and also to remind us all Christians that though we are under grace, the ten commandments still apply and that we should live our lives holy and pleasing to God. The Holy Spirit is meant to guide us into all truth.

John 16:13

¹³But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth.

Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. VERY IMPORTANT!!! The Holy Spirit is the One that reveals knowledge and understanding of God's word to us.

I've lost a good friend

One of my favorite friends decided to hate me on my birthday (19 April). I invited him to my house for dinner to celebrate with some of our other friends as well. However, before that I was having a meeting with three of my friends regarding a project and we were praying together and I never realized that this good friend of mine called me. He had waited at outside the gates of my place downstairs for 10 minutes, waiting for us to open the gate for him. He had begged him boss to let him have the day off to celebrate my birthday. He got so angry and left before we could open it for him.

I went to his place which was a five minute walk from my house to apologize to him. I waited outside hoping he would give me a chance to say "I'm sorry." Instead, he wanted his parents to call the police.

Why? Why did this happen? I've already apologized sincerely and begged him to join us to celebrate, but he still rejected my apologies and my sincerity. How? How did it come to this? A friend whom I've known for 6 years and my sincerity is doubted. I feel like he has planned to turn his back on me long ago. He has been waiting for me to make one small mistake just so he could say "It's your fault Dennis, too bad." I pray it's not that way.

In my heart he's still my friend and like a brother to me. I hope he'll forgive me. It's really painful to lose a friendship that has lasted 6 years.

I trusted him and he turned his back on me. I loved him like a brother and he hates me like an enemy. I feel so rejected and betrayed. I forgive him for turning his back on me, but can he forgive me for my mistake that day. Why did things have to turn out this way? Friend if you are reading this, I just want you to know I'm really sorry. We're friends and I don't want to become enemies. I have had enough enemies I don't need anymore.

Paralyzed and Persevering

As the clock ticks, my heart beats faster and faster and.......FASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PRelims in July! ART EXAMS IN SEPTEMBER! IB exams in November! How many points can I get? Will I get into the college I want?!!! I need to focus!

Today was a harsh day. I'm dying to study and trying really hard. However, I can't sit still and for no silly reason, my mind is blocked with nothing. It's like there is an invisible force stopping me from studying. I'm becoming retarded. I need to study and I WANT TO STUDY AND DO MY ESSAYS AND MY ART! Everyday is wasted. I've cut down on computer games and chat time on MSN. What else is going on? I really need to adjust myself. I'm going to go for more tuitions and study until I get full marks for my Math and Physics! I want to score those distinctions ah!

As I take a step in opening my documents to do my asignments and my ntoes to read, I can feel Goliath, the Pharisees, and the devil shouting, and through the waves and winds I hear, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! FAIL!" THen I also hear, God and His Angels and all the godly men like Elijah, David, Joshua, Dennis Ng shouting, "PASS! PASS PASS PASS! YEA Woohoo!" then the sound of swords are clashing and i can hear the sound of iron and steel clanging against golden sharpened swords and shields and ....... ok that's enough

Ok I've released my anger. Again, I need people to pray for me regarding my studies. I really want to study. Please pray for me that I'll have a conducive environment even in my home to be disciplined and focused in my studies. I want those 42 over points! God please help me! I feel small now! Make me big! I am paralyzed by lethargy. ANoint me GOd to to greater in my studies for You I pray AMEN!

enough lamenting and time for praise! Well, I had a good time with my friends on Friday night. Was a wonderful party (I guess). My laptop is back and healthy but I still got a problem with the dvd player on my laptop. There are some shows I can watch but some can't. Oh well. thank God for that too so I dont get distracted. :D

I'm back again

Hi folks, if you have been passing by this blog, you'll know it has been dead for sometime. Well, today is resurrection day for it again. I've had a tough month in April and even on my birthday, something bad happened. Really, really sad and depressed about it. However, God is good as He is always there to cheer me up and spur me on. Well, academics have been affected too as a lot crowd in my mind now. Pray for me my friends. I need prayer in financial areas and also in my studies. I want to glorify God to the best of my abilities.

I planning to pull out of my school's musical this year because I feel very dry this year about things and I'm more interested about my IB points now than anything else. I also want to spend more time on reorganizing certain things in my life. The stage is fun place to be no matter what you do on it. What keeps me from enjoying myself is the lack of confidence or worries and life matters. Even this year I suddenly don't feel comfortable doing Grease. Whatever happens at the end, God will lead me out of my wrong choices and make whatever mess I have done and turn in into something good in my life for His glory.

May has been a good start. Hopefully, things will pick up. I've already planned my June Holidays already. I won't be having much play time during the holidays. I'll be studying every single day. Prelims start on the very first day of term 3.

So if any of you reading are Christians, do pray for me in the following 6 areas:

1. Financial Breakthrough
2. Reconciliation with broken friendships
3. Disciplined in studies and distinctions/improvements in my grades

Easter 2009

Every Easter never fails to encourage me. This year's drama was good, but i still prefer last year's drama. Last year's drama was better actually and more biblical in a way. Overall, I still enjoyed it. The most important thing is that they didnt leave out the crucifixion part which is good. In any Jesus show that I watch, I never fail to have spiritual visions in my spirit of the crucifixion when it came to the crucifixion scenes. I can always feel the love of God in every whip and the voice of God in every step Jesus took while carrying the cross.

Anyway, for the last three days in church, I have been wearing red. Very interesting choice but I decided to wear red for Easter.

Even if the drama was better last year, yet it this year's one was still good and I bet Sidhant my good friend would still have enjoyed it. It's a sad thing he couldn't come. I really wanted him to come. I was hoping this year both Sid and Junwen could both come. They are my two most important friends in ACS International. Even if they do despise me in some ways which I cna agree with them, but I still want to be their best friend in ACS International. I pray that when Sid watches the service online, he'll still enjoy it. Sidhant and Junwen both have a good future. God has given them wonderful talent. I do pray though, that one day Sidhant and Jun Wen will realize how real and powerful God is and how much He loves us them as well and how much they need Him.

Day 4 of OBS

Day 4 of OBS:

This was the best day of OBS but also very tiring day. We had paddled for two days out at sea. This time, I was picked as an expedition leader and the navigator.

The instructors said that because we didn't go to Causeway on the day before, we had to try and finish it on this day. However, if we didn't make it by 11am to the Causeway, we could turn back to Pulau Ubin.

Around 10.40am, we were still quite a distance from the Causeway and everyone wanted to give up. They all started racing their kayaks to me, telling me to just U-turn back to Pulau Ubin. Obviously I wanted to do that as well, however the Lord was not pleased. He appointed me to lead for a reason, because He knew that the people will intentionally try to paddle slow until 11am and then U-turn back. God then said to me, "Go to the Causeway, I'll be with you." I didn't know what to do, but God opened my heart and my eyes to see. We all wanted to give up part of the reason we were tired, but the main reason was because we doubted ourselves and we were lazy. God said, "Look and see" In obedience to God, I had no choice but to refuse the people even if they were to hate me for it. THe people did a vote of who wanted to go Causeway. I wanted God to be happy and to see His hand at work considering that the currents were already with us, they might be with us on the way back. Only 2 out of 23 people agreed to go to the Causeway. I didn't know what to do and my heart got angry. I remembered Moses when the people of Israel complained against him and his leadership and complaining against for leading them out to the desert. The same fleet that I was padlding with were equally stiff-necked. Gently with my voice and in my heart, I whispered to GOd in prayer, "Lord, my heart is angry. Please help me."

Louis and Bao and Lauren and a few others finally decided to just go ahead and give it our best shot anyway. We might as well try our best and complete something. More and more people began to agree and went ahead with the idea and all started paddled with their might toward the Causeway. We arrived at the Causeway at 11.45am.

Amazingly, when we were paddling towards the Causeway, the wind and tides were with us going in the direction toward the Causeway. THe moment we touched the Causeway and stopped for our lunch, the wind and tides turned toward the direction heading back to Pulau Ubin, which was where we were heading as well after we finsihed our lunches on our kayaks.

While we were finishing our lunches and about to set off, I prayed to God gently in my heart and asked for favor with the winds and waves again and to bring us back safely to Pulau Ubin and to reach there as early as possible because the people were complaining we would reach back very late.

The instructors told me that I had to lead everyone back to Pulau Ubin by 6.30pm which meant we had to keep a good pace and time our breaks properly. I said to God, "Lord, I'm not a good leader, give me wisdom and teach me how to be one. Be our compass and direct our paths."

Someone kayaked past mine and insulted me for making a stupid decision and that I was the most retarded leader (to be honest, I found the idea to go to Causeway quite impossible and ridiculous). And he also said, "We're gonna reach back at like 8-9pm. I said, "We won't cause the tides and wind are moving in our direction and the wind is giving us an extra boost. We'll be there much earlier." Then someone else came by and asked, "So what time do you think we'll reach?" I wanted to say 6.30pm but suddenly I prophecied "4.30pm". I saw a miracle at the end of the day. We reached back at Pulau Ubin at 4.30pm on the dot. It was definitely God.

I've calculated our travelling time from Pulau Ubin to Causeway (only counting our time in the water), and our time from Causeway back to Pulau Ubin. Our total paddling time from Pulau Ubin to Causeway was almost more than 12 hours 45 minutes. Our total paddling time from Causeway back to Pulau Ubin was only 4 hours and 30 minutes. We left the Causway at exactly 12nn.

I learnt 2 lessons from this day:
In life, we want to achieve certain things such as high grades for our academics, promotion in our jobs, or even win a competition. However, along the way, the vision will grow tired and weary. We will grow tired and begin to wear out. We begin to think negatively and say it's impossible and we just don't feel like going on anymore and just give up. The greatest challenge in the journey of success, is to be able to discipline ourselves and go forward. Plus, many times even before we even try, we already want to back out because we think too little of ourselves and say we cannot do it. But if we just learn to allow ourselves to be stretched and challenged to go an extra distance, we'll be able to realize our full potentials and how much we can achieve if we just dont give up. You'll never realize your fullest potential until you press yourself with endurance, perseverance, patience and determination.

The second lesson is that when we begin to obey God like how I chose to obey GOd and go to the Causeway, He'll strengthen us and give us the grace to accomplish the tasks He has given. THe winds and waves in our lives, even they will obey us and will find favor with us.

So trust in God, delight yourself in Him, commit to Him and wait upon Him.

God said this is good and I believe it is too.
So morning and evening were the fourth day of OBS.

Day 3 of OBS:

We set off for our second day of the expedition and for this lake of the expedition we are expected to pass by Sembawang Campsite, go to Causeway and U-turn to Sembawang Campsite to sleep for the night so it is nearer for us to return to Pulau Ubin the following day. However, things took an abrupt turn when we passed by Sembawang Campsite. We finally passed by Sembawang Campsite but we had not touched the Causeway yet. To make it short, a thunderstorm interrupted the day's activities. However, the miracle was this: It only came right when we had passed by Sembawang Campsite. We were not supposed to stop yet. However, the thunderstorm came right at the same time when we passed by Sembawang campsite the first time. So we quickly rowed our kayaks to shore and quickly took shelter from the thunderstorm. We did not go to the Causeway at all. We arrived at Sembawang at 4.30pm. We departed from Punggol at around 9am and reached Sembawang around 4.30pm which took us about 7 and half hours to travel.

What did I learn on this day. This day was the most tiring to me because we had to fight the currents as we were turning around a bend. The moment we stopped for water break, the tides kept pushing us backwards. I just wanted to give up. My back hurt like hell and I my ankle was having cuts and because I had no socks and I was controlling the rudders. My arms just didn't want to paddle anymore.

Then I remembered what God had said to me the day before about trusting Him and worship. So I started to worship God as I paddled. I just kept praying and worshipping and started praying in tongues softly but also very desperately.

This day was basically a day of testing for me to stretch myself once more and rely on God for strength. The Bible says that GOd is our strength and shield. Just have to learn to rely on God like how Jacob did.

So we stopped at Sembawang Campsite for the night.

God said this was good and I believe it was good too.
So, morning and evening were the third day of OBS.

Day One of Expedition

Day 1 Ending: We ended off day one of OBS by planning and packing our stuff for the expedition.

Day 2 of OBS:

Before we set off, we had to do our capsize drills and all the kayak lessons things. I hated it seriously. took me 15 minutes to get back on my kayak because it was a double kayak which meant that I had problems helping my friend as well. I was angry and started to complain to God. Then God reminded me of Apostle Paul. In the midst of difficulty, Paul never complained. He struggled but he still chose to praise and worship God. However, I was disobedient. I kept complaining and complaining. I wanted to quit dude. Then one of the questions that came to me was, "What's impossible with God?"

Here is a lesson learnt: In life, we will face shortcomings and harsh conditions. Even if it is a small trial that seems so hard to overcome, we always want to give up and quite. We like to complain to God, "If this is what You planned for me, then make it easier!!!!" The Bible says that He has allowed us to go through trials not to defeat us but to strengthen. THe trials that God sets us are not beyond our abilities. All you got to do is trust God and believe in Him.

Then the LORD said, "Where is your faith? Why do you doubt?" FInally, I chose to surrender to God and give Him all the honor and glory. I spoke in faith, "Whatever is impossible for men, is possible for God." THis capsize drill is only drill why make it feel like it is so difficult. Just climb on man!

God is good, I got on and so did my partner whom after at least 7 tries got on as well.

Later that day, we set sail for our expedition. Our objective for the journey was to go from Pulau Ubin to Causeway. That night we stopped at Punggol Campsite to sleep.

God blessed the day and said it was good. I believe it was and is.
So morning and evening were the second day of OBS.

OBS Part 1

Last week, I went for my 5-day OBS Camp. I have lots of testimonies and values to share of what God showed and taught me there. The most exciting thing was I got to see miracles. I'll start with Day 1.

Day 1:

We arrived at Pulau Ubin and planted our bags in our bunks where we stayed the first night. We also had a store where all the camping equipment was kept. We had a very focused, well-trained, disciplined and certainly a very sunshine instructor and friendly too.

Well, we had our introductions and all our administrative stuff done and then we did our climbing activities. We were on leadership course so obviously we had to learn and do things ourselves such as Belaying (hope I spelt it right). Basically it means to know how to tie ropes, release the ropes when our partners are climbing up and down and when they are falling. We got the opportunity to climb the Double Dangle Duo which meant we needed to climb in pairs, and Snakes and Ladders which could be done in pair or solo. I only did Snake and Ladders and I did it solo. I did it twice.

The first time I did it halfway because I gave in to lethargy and the second time, with determination.

The first lesson learnt was not to give in to your emotions and give up just because you feel like it. One of the reasons why I could not finish it the first time was because as I got tired in the middle section, I hung onto one point for too long. This applies to life as well. Whenever we face a situation where we start to get lethargic, we tend to get draggy and complaining. However, the longer we drag and procrastinate, the more lethargic and tired we'll get and the temptation to give up becomes stronger. So even if you take a break from something, never take too long, cause you'll end up hanging onto your resting spot for too long until your arms get tired and you let go. Good to rest, but keep moving forward.

The other thing I learn everytime I climbed up this thing is never look down. It's not just about heights but also about focus. Climbing and looking upwards means moving forward and looking forward as well. Climbing and looking downwards means moving backwards and look backwards. So by looking backward, you're actually discouraging yourself because you'll keep thinking "How far am I? Will I make it? It's so far from the end!" We keep worrying instead of being focused. Planning and worrying are two different things. Worrying gets you no where. Focused and disciplined plans will lead you somewhere evne though you may not be there yet. You got to look heavenward and you got to keep moving upward and forward. Never backdown and never look back. Look heavenward and stay positive. Don't look down and don't look back at your past. Look to a brighter victory in life.

So having learnt this, I wanted to be determined to try again a second time. Although my friend beat my record, I'm glad I beat mine and still made it to the very top. I thank God for this lesson and experience. God said it is good, and I also believe it's good. afternoon and evening was the first day of OBS.

Project:: 柱

Project: 柱 has been launched recently on 4 February 2009. In 2008, God had taught me something really valuable and something I will never forget for the rest of my life. God has called me to share this message with everyone around me. At first, I only had the intention of speaking verbally and writing it down as a personal testimony. However, during the Chinese New Year period, God challenged me to take my faith one step further by using it to impact society in a greater way. God wants me to integrate an edifying word through the Cultural Mandate as well. Using creativity, God didn't just want me to share it with others directly as a sermon or a testimony sharing or something that causes me to have spiritual pride and to stay in my comfort.

This project is now my life-long project which will develop over the years. For now, it is classified into 5 different components only. THis message which GOd has sown into my heart, will be spread in various ways, using creativity to impact the marketplace. These methods involve all the 5 pillars of the marketplace: Business, Education, Government, Arts & Education, and the Mass Media.

Step by step, God has already begun to help me as I take this step of faith forward. I don't know how long the project will be but I'm guessing it's forever. It is a vision and a call from God. The book is almost complete, with only the editing to finish. I've written a new song out of this message and it's also almost done. The song is still in composition stage. I've also started on a painting series but it is not complete either. I pray that God will give me the grace to fulfill this project.

Do pray for me as well that I will not be distracted from my studies either and that God will continue to strengthen me as I am very exhausted from IB life. I can't really work well under a certain level of pressure. So do pray for me and continue to look out for stuff on my blog. As I complete each component of the project, I will make it known on my blog. Right now, I can't show or tell you everything. I can only reveal them once I've successfully completed each component.

Sorry to have been away from this blog for so long I missed it. I'm not sure who reads it though because nobody bothers to flood my tagboard even while they are here.

Anyway, I have some exciting things to share. I know some people keep asking me what happened to the book I've been writing. Well, forgive me because I procrastinated halfway and along the way, school work has increased and plus there's a lot to write. As I write I always get new revelation eventually so things keep changing and editing has become a chore. Anyway, I'll keep my word in completing it as I've been called to do. I'm already starting to work on it in school. So you should be able to read it soon. Hopefully I've got the money to publish it too.

However, while I'm writing this book, I'm writing another book which is not really a thick one. It is not something I need to compile like The Fruit of The Spirit which I'm writing. This new book I've written is about Jesus as our Pillar of strength and support. It's a short book with my testimony of the revelation and how it is impacted me. So it's a message and a testimony together.

This book is only one element of the project which I've launched - Project: 柱. I can't release anything else yet, but it is gonna be a three year project because of the last element in this project. I hope I can complete it quickly so that people can be blessed and transformed.

I've feel kind of lazy now not because of my studies but in my time with my mother and grandparents. I want to go out with them so badly but I've so little time because of all my work. Pray for me because already my grandfather, especially him, has begun to be closer to me. I really pray with all my heart that he will find Jesus this year and that I can be a good testimony.

I haven't shared about my new laptop yet. God gave me favor and I got a lot of ang bao for CNY. My grandfather said he'd give $________, to buy the laptop although I had to "tamba" at the end with some of the extra ang bao money. However, one week after I bought it, he told me that he didn't intend for me to buy it yet and said whatever amount I spent on for the laptop, he'll put it back into my bank account. What a blessing! This is how much closer I am with my grandfather. I thought he was serious about me using my angbao money to buy the laptop, only to realize he was joking. He increased his giving because he jsut wanted to bless me with more because he cared for me and loved me. I really thank God for all the favor I have received.

Lastly, I'm still struggling in the IB program. RUshing through assignments and tests.

So pray for me in the following:
1. Studies will be more glorify to God.
2. Relationship with family is closer.
3. RIse up in ministry.
4. God will bless Project: 柱 and supply whatever I need for this project.

CNY Season

For those who actually drop by this blog, well, I'm back again thank you. Just wanna wish you readers a Happy Chinese New Year. School just started this week and already I'm so stressed out with work and revision. Still, with God, I believe I can try harder and work even harder for better grades this year. Bless the Lord! Chinese New Year Eve is tomorrow. I can't wait to start collecting my red packets hehe:) I hope I can collect more than last year. I collected more in 2008 than 2007. This year I hope I can collect more than 2009. I need a financial breakthrough HAH! God please provide and replenish my bank account. The last two weeks I also spent quite a sum on my hair and clothing. My grandmother loves me so much that she bought me shirts and a new pair of shoes from Lacoste. I haven't even started wearing the pair of Nike shoes which she recently bought as well from Taiwan for me.

Oh today's service was really fun. I enjoyed it so much. Actually before Pastor Kong talked about the Chinese Characters, I already expected it when he mentioned about the Chinese people having a similar tradition as the Jewish people in the Old Testament and when he mentioned the words that Sima Qian recorded about creation. I still enjoyed it even though I heard some of the words before because I learnt new ones which helped me a lot. Did you know even my name. Last year in 2007 between Jan-Feb I learnt a bit about this and that's when God began to teach me to appreciate my Chinese name as well. My Chinese name is 柱雄. I despised my Chinese name because it was a fortune teller who gave me that name. Then one day God showed me slowly by first letting me understand the meaning of the first word of my chinese name: 柱. I don't want to say too much about it because in case Yun Ru drops by this blog, she'll stop guessing what I'm gonna paint with that word. It is really significant to me as it is also as Pastor said that even some of the original chinese characters which were written before Confucious' time, were prophecies of the New Testament. All Chinese Characters have a story and they are all related to God and His marvelous works at the end of the day.

So in service I learnt something about learning to honor the names which I have been given and also to honor the chinese language and not forget my chinese roots because at the end of the day, they all orgininated from one source - God Almighty - God Almighty or God in chinese is the word 上帝 which was the GOd which the first Chinese Emperor worshipped. So even my chinese name, God allowed me to have that name and keep it to remind me also of something very significant.

Yun Ru! Can guess already? What am I going to paint out of that one word 柱? Don't stop trying must keep on guessing. You went to service today so you should be able to interpret at least a bit more. 加油！And please be nice to tag the blog

I can't focus

I'm only at the start of the year and I can't focus. My feelings are distracting me. Something doesn't feel right somewhere. I think I know what it is. It doesn't hinder me from my relationship with God, but it hinders me from other stuff. I feel like I'm in a maze right now. My mind is confused and my heart tends to feel soft and weak. Friends please pray for me. I know it sounds really emo but I'm not. I think it might just be another distraction from the evil one to make me lose concentration on my studies and my walk with God. Still, this time the feelings grow stronger each day because of my soft heart. I don't know how to manage them anymore. LORD help me. Strengthen me LORD. The one thing which I'm hoping for right now, is to do well for the LORD in my exams this year. I need to improve a lot. That's my main focus this year. I must pass the IB. Then I can focus more on other things when I'm done. I have a strong feeling that this year is gonna be more speedy than 2008. Things are gonna happen so quickly I may not even notice.

Ah! Finally have the mood to start blogging again.

I've been thinking the last 6 days and 5 nights of how to have a better start in 2009 such that the rest of the year can be a more enduring one.

1. Studies

I had already expected the IB program to be very demanding. A lot of work and probably some OT hours at home or in school. I had already prepared everything for it or at least that's what I thought at first. Much later did I realize I was overconfident about my success. I overestimated myself and thought I could handle CCAs and studies at the same time and much more. I took on 5 CCAs in my first year in the IB program. Furthermore, I did not prepare enough resources and material for myself and all this led me to my downfall in 2008. With perseverance, I learn from my mistakes and press on forward as the Bible says. Now I know that OT hours are "sometimes", it's "DAILY" As stressed as the teachers are, the students are as well. So to make my year better, I'm resolving to spend less time on MSN. Unless necessary, I'll only be on MSN until 10pm starting today onward. I need to adjust myself again to doing work/revision. I will still be on computer after 10pm but not on MSN :). Which means I'd probably only get about 1 hour of MSN time when school begins. THen, I'll only spend time on CF and Pass It On and my action hours. The rest of my academic time will be spent on revision and work from Sun-Fri. I have also set my target for my Prelims and IB exam.

2. Ministry

I also need to use some time for ministry. Christian Fellowship and Pass It On and Church ministry are already a good start. However, I'll also be spending enough time with people around me as well so that when there is a need, I can help meet it. My plans for this is personal so hehe cannot say.

3. Relationship with family and close friends

Relationship with family is very important so I'm resolving to spend another one third of my time with my family and friends but in a balanced way as well. Family time with my mother not just during dinner but maybe also going out with her and grandma on sundays for lunch and whatsoever. Then whenever my grandpa is back from his business trips, I will drop by his place for dinner and go for breakfast with him on saturdays as usual :) With friends, I hope that I can enough time to watch movies and go for outings with them more. It's boring to buried under books all the time and staying within the many walls of your house.

I'm looking forward to a brand new achievement in 2009. I believe like what Pastor Kong said, "This year will be the best year yet." Like the saying goes in ACS: The best is yet to be. To God be the Glory.

I think maybe this year after my IB exams, I'll go cruise or Bintan with friends. I just wanna go someplace and relax. haha so sianzz.

Brand New Year Approaches

In a few hours time it's 2009.

A few things that I want to thank God for this year:

1. Project Pass It On
2. Chinese New Year I collected more money than I got in 2007 and it was more than I what I prayed for.
3. I completed one painting which I could feel more than satisfied about.
4. Friends who were there for me. Helped me to realize more of who my true brothers were.
5. My face is better now.
6. Asia Conference 2008
7. Got to go for more holidays this year: Tokyo, Perth and Chiang Mai.
8. Geraldine got Married (Answered Prayer)
9. New Friends in a new cell group.
and many more.....

I reflect....

2008 may have been pretty stressful and boring but I still believe every new day is still good because God made it. I have been a little slower in my walk with God this year which is the most depressing thing this year. I want to make my 2009 the best year yet by:

1. Praying more, fast more, give more, read God's word more, serve more.
2. Study harder and get better grades. I want to work very hard on my Mathematics, Art and Physics.
3. at least 38/45 points for IB.
4. Pass It On will be a better success.
5. Christian Fellowship to have more committed people.
6. Grandparents get saved.
7. Cell group to grow.
8. Rise up in cell group.
9. Be more caring and attentive to people's needs.
10. Finish Bible Study.
11. Finish Editing my book.
12. Go to the Gym more and to play more basketball.
and many more.....

I believe 2009 will be the best year yet like what pastor said. Pastor Kong also reminded us during the last service of 2008 to forget our Old Sins, Old Defeats, Old Conflicts and Old Victories. Let's look forward and keep moving forward! The old has gone, the new has come. AMEN!

Tonight I won't be going to the countdown anymore. Reason:
1. Litttle Nonya
2. Tired
3. None of my friends invite me or are going.
4. Maybe going out for dinner with Grandma.

If there is any reason I should go, I will:
1. BX, WL, Nick or any of my cell group members going.

2008 is over in 3 days. How to spend the next three days? Study la! Obviously.

Well here is the report for this week's events:

Monday:
I spent a whole day watching Justice League Unlimited on Youtube (completely lifeless day). Then I spent the night watchign Little Nonya and talking to people on MSN.

Tuesday:
I went to meet Yvonne and Cheryl for lunch at Macdonalds' at Suntec City. I bought something from Yvonne's online business. Bought something extra for my cousin's Christmas present. Yvonne so angry cause I told her to bring a piece which I was buying for someone from her. At first we both agreed on monday night that the first color was better but I told her to bring the other color. Then that day, I decided to buy the first color instead. So she said, "Too Much" again. Very funny:) Then after that I went home to run a quick errand (preparation for my other cousin's wedding). THen I rushed down to Jurong West to help Louisa wrap presents for Children's Church. After that, I rushed home to finish downloading some missing songs for the wedding (we didn't need the songs at the end of the whole wedding nevermind). Then rushed down to Lorraine's house to burn CDs cause my computer somehow put in any CD also cannot read. So I cannot use or burn any CDs on my desktop so I had to fly to Lorraine's house to burn the CDs. Then while we were trying to finish burning the CD and trying to find the missing songs, Little Nonya started so while we were doing the CDs we watched Little Nonya. I felt bad because I made my mother wait at Tanglin Mall Macdonald's for one house for me to finish. God I very very sorry. Sorry mother. :) Finish Little Nonya, burned the CD, then go home and watched Youtube. Watching Detective Conan the Movie 11 and 12 until 5.30am the next day (wednesday).

Wednesday:
I woke up at 12.30pm and then by the time I got ready was already 2.30pm so I rushed down in cab to Jurong West for 3.30pm Christmas service. I met Yvonne there again cause she going that service and she also wanted to pass the pieces of things I bought from her. I was so disappointed I didn't bring my camera again for the candlelgith service. I didn't know there was gonna be another candlelight service again. i forgot that on the eve there's always candlelight service. We had drama. the drama super super super awesome and funny. THe best ever. After that, took a cab with Yvonne and Victor down to EXPO. THey went to meet their family for dinenr before going for EXPO service. I took a quick MRT ride from there back to Bedok and took 33 from Bedok back home. I went home to quickly wrap Lorraine's present. Then my mother picked me up from home to go grandma and grandpa's house for Christmas party with the family. Didn't really enjoy myself though. Had dinner, then went up to watch Little Nonya in the backroom because I hate to gamble and if I stayed downstairs they'd make me play Poker. I only play Poker on facebook because not real money. I could never be more wrong when I said they'd make me. Although it was for fun. I don't mind after all it is with family but I still want to refrain from gambling of any sort. Then i go Christopher house to celebrate Christmas also. I missed the main highlights of the party. Oh well. Then went home watched Detective Donan Movie 10 until 4.30am the next day (thursday).

THursday:
I go EXPO service 12.30pm, then passed to Yun Ru her other half of the Christmas package. I very nice lo give two presents. Pay It Forward Yun Ru. then I said hi to JunYuan and went to fellowship with E344 at Marina Square. After that the rest of the day was super boring don't wanna talk about it. I did nothing but waste time until night I watched Detective Conan episodes 1-5 until friday morning.

Friday:
AT Lorraine's house the entire day helping to burn more CDs. After that go dinner with mother at Old Airport Road and go home to watch Little Nonya. Then watched Detective Conan episodes 6-15 until saturday morning.

Saturday:
Went for Cousin's wedding. Mornign was supposed to doante blood but they stopped me because I still on medication. THen from afternoon till midnight I helped with the wedding arrangements. I am so exhausted. I'll put up the pictures later on or you can go to facebook.

Sunday:
Missed service on Saturday so going to EXPO service later don't know if i can still wake up. THen at night still got Thanksgiving with YK Zone at JW.

I've been to lazy to blog. Anyway this week on wednesday we had MY HOPE Singapore. We had fun playing board games at MindsCafe. I was actually quite bored after 2 hours. Very sad, so little friends came and no altar calls but thank God that at least two friends came. We had pizza and watched the video. Billy Graham's message was motivating. He is so well spoken. He can speak directly with such confidence and authority.

Thursday I went for tuition and then later went for dinner with my mother.

Friday was super speedy day. Morning had to leave early to go out with my mother and grandmother to OG at Orchard. Then I went to watch Twilight @ LIDO with Aunty Evelyn, Amber, Nicole and Tanya. Twilight is a good show should watch. I also bumped into Tara, Roshan and Rachael after the movie. Then I walk around Shaw Centre with Aunty Evelyn and Amber for a while. Then I super sped off by MRT to Millenia Walk to colelct Yun Ru's first half of the present. COuld only get it on friday because I wanted the present to be fresh. The other half of the present still with me. Suspense is a must for Christmas. Then I super sped back to my house and left the present at home. Then I had to super super super speed to SUPERCUTS at Jalan Tua Kong to cut my hair. I cut it super short this time for reasons I don't have to say. hehe. Then I super sped home again to watch Little Nonya. Missed dinner and couldn't buy bread. After show then went to eat my early supper at Dunman Food Court and bought bread then go home. Straight after, BX called me to meet with Hanzong also. So I joined them at Fei Fei Wanton Mee. I had drink but no food too full to eat. So watch them eat while I talk. Then sped home to shower and watch Smallville.

Yesterday went for Usher Ministry Lesson 1. Have to repeat too bad cause I left ministry so now must resit Usher Exam. Good thing is only need to go for lesson 1. Then I supposed to do greeting only. Vincent let me serve zone with ex-section since I got experience already. So I agreed very excitedly and served with them. I missed serving as usher. THen after service I clear up my rubbish, pass the present to YunRu and went off to fellowship quickly. THen Nick stay at my house last night. Yea! Got friend to talk to. MSN people are not real people. lol just kidding. :) Slept late trying to watch Smallville season 6 episode 13 (Crimson). We watch almost finish then the stupid video stopped cause they say watch 72 minutes of videos then have to wait like super long. Not even 72 minutes lo. Only like 30 minutes they say 72 minutes. KUKU website. Still waiting for some dude to upload the full season 6 on Youtube. Service was great. One thing I like about Christmas service is the Candlelight service. The whole place was filled with the reverence of God's presence. THe light so cool.

Today, Nick and I overslept and slept until 2.30pm. Then we went to Suntec City, Marina Square, Heeren, Cineleisure and Plaza Sing to look for present. Until reach Plaza Sing then found a nice present.
Today before we went out to town we also go to Fei Fei Wanton Mee to eat. Then surprisingly, the Holy Spirit wanted me to invite the people there. So I rushed home (my house nearby the shop), to take the invitation cards while Nick waited at the shop, and super sped back. I hope the uncle will invite his family to join him if he is coming. I pray he does come. :) PTL!
After PS, my mother picked me up to go for dinner with my grandma. We went to eat at BABA INN at Frankel Ave. I love the Nonya food there except this time i think because of recession, the quality cut down. nevermind, at least I got to eat one of my favorites. Only dish that I wanted that they never had tonight was Babi Ponteh. :(

Comforted to Angry

I thank Weiloong for staying at my place the last two nights to help me out. Also to all my other friends who have been praying for me, I want to say thank you. I feel stronger now and more comforted. God gave me revelation on Saturday mornign while was praying which gave me strength and hope. He also reminded me that when ever I encounter a SPiritual attack or have any moments of fear, confusion, or whatever the evil tries to hurt me with, I just have to remind myself of what Jesus did for me on the Cross.

Well, having comforted, now I'm really angry. Today I was out the whole day in school with my mentor and we just chatted the whole day. I came home tonight only to find out that Little Nonya starts at 8pm every Monday. I AM SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER ANGRY & UPSET!. No wonder I missed so many parts on monday whenever I was watching. I was like "how come this part haven't shown yet?" Now I realized that it was at 8pm on MONDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just feel like tearing my bed into 400 million pieces!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank God I realized now otherwise I would continue to suffer the next many Mondays until Little Nonya is over. Better late than never. Thanks Yun Ru for the information.

Wednesday, 10 December 2008:

I stayed at the home again but I didn't do much just slacking off. I went for BS in the evening and learnt about power, love and a sound mind. Very interesting lesson. When I got home, I missed half of Little Nonya and I was so upset. The bus fault take so long to come. oh well:) This week's quiet time have been doing spiritual exercise trying to be more discerning in Spirit and trying to get fresh revelation from God.

THursday, 11 December 2008:

I had weirdest night ever. I woke up in the middle of the night which was like don't know what a.m. in the morning. I'm talking about from wednesday night (Thursday morning aroudn 3-4am). It was a crazy moment in my life. Got spiritual attack, but God saved me. I was sleeping and in the middle of the night, he came and tried to strike me down with fear. Long story cut short, I was immovable for a while and when I tried to rebuke him I couldn't utter a word. Eventually I did. To find out more details, you can ask me directly if you know me and my number. I testifying about it during cell group meeting tonight (Friday, 12 December 2008). I can only say it was intense and a little traumatizing. I do feel a little frightened now. However, the bible says that the Lord has not given us a Spirit of fear but of power, love and sound mind. Greater is GOd who is in me than he in the world. I need not fear cause I know God always wins. Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus!

I spent the day writing 2 chapters of my book, talking on MSN and trying to break out of this boring house. I was so restless the whole day. I played Word Challenge on Facebook. then later watch 5.30pm show, 7pm show and Little Nonya. On Wednesday and last night, I also watched Joyce Meyer's program on the web. Her message was about loving yourself and to stop being mad yourself for something that had past long ago. It was more than just self-worth and self-esteem. She said one thing that is very important about relationship. She said, "Relationship with God and people is important, but relationship with myself is also important. You can't love somebody if you don't know how to love yourself. You can't love until you've experienced God's love yourself." It is true cause the Bible says, "we love because He first loved us." THe Bible also says we are to love our neighbors as ourselves. Can't love yourselves, you'll never learn to love others.

It is 7am in the morning. I couldn't sleep properly. I woke up at 5.30am and couldn't go to sleep again because of what happened the other night. Well, today I going somewhere for my appointment which is at 11am then maybe go out with my mother today then later at night go for cell group. OOO and on monday next week I watching twilight.

Stability releases ability

Today I stayed the home whole day again really boring like no life. No choice, must study and do work. Of course I didn't revise much today as I was quite lazy neither did I complete my World Lit today. i did half way on sunday haven't finish yet. Now i still want to finish writing my book. GOd please send someone to drive me to study and be more focus on my work and to live a balanced lifestyle. I watched 螢火蟲的夢 at 5.30pm and Love Blossoms 2 at 7.30pm again. After that, do a bit corrections for math revision and then I watched Joyce Meyer again. I watched her program last night as well. This week her sermon is called "Calm, Cool and Collected" It's really good and she talks about focus and abit else which I'll say once I'm done typing what my activities today. Later 9pm I watching Little Nonya and then continue editing my book.

About Joyce Meyer, today she said a few things last night and tonight on her program. THe first thing that she said that impacted me was: "Stop using all my emotional energy trying to fix something up. Don't spend your life upset or worried about things you can't change. Stop living for people and start living for God. Instead of trying to fix people or worrying about stuff, start taking responsibility for your ownself."

Tonight she also said: "No matter how much progress you make, you need maintainance. Satan is not concerned about your destruction, he just wants to distract you from your purpose and vision and eventually lose it."

Lastly, she said: "Let your emotions subside befoe you decide."

Actually the very very last thing she said was: "Stability releases ability" This one statement that hit me the hardest. Stop worrying about your call or your gift. Don't tell God what you want to do. You tell God that whatever He wants to do with you and in you, let Him. When He wants to do it, let Him. All you have to say is: "God here I am, send me. Whatever you want me to do, I'm willing to do it." God will give you the call when it is time and you just need to stabilize yourself in the faith and focus on your call now. Until you are stable in your faith and the little things He has put you in charge over in your life, you will never be able to release the potentials God has put in you.

Get things right with God

There are a lot of things in my life which in someone cause me to live a double life, both directly and indirectly. Sometimes because of our imperfection, we live our lives sometimes without even realizing we've deceived ourselves. Dr. Joyce Meyer once said on her program which caught my heart. She said, "To be self-deceived is worse than Satan-deceived" Sometimes I do things so quickly and rashly either because of my enthusiasm or dumbness or out of frustration. I make rash plans and decisions without really listening to the 100% revelation from God. I always listen to His calls and His directions but when it comes to patience and timing, I'm too quick to respond. Apart from this, there are other weaknesses which I've had in 2008 and I want to come before God and get right with Him. Whether or not I know it, everyone may not have the intention of living a double life, but sometimes we are so caught up with things we do not even realize our ownselves being deceived by our ownselves. I want to thank God for helping me tor ealize my mistakes and wrongs this year. Before the year ends, I want to get right with God on everything. I believe God will help me.

One of the big mistakes is being too impatient. I remember one time in June, I had a burden in my heart and a call from the Lord. I won't say what exactly what it is, but the Lord did not say when to go or whether or not it was the Kairos moment. I acted too quickly and He has humbled me to realize that. I was not supposed to leave the ministry at this time which was my mistake. Kind of embarrassing to confess but oh well. I will be going back soon. I do hope that I'll be able to serve with my old team again. I pray with all my heart and soul that God will allow it. GOd I repent from my unwise choices. 2S4 must pray for me.

For many other things this year like getting too caught up in too many activities and unwise planning caused me to lose focus in my studies which led me down to really bad grades. I'm really worried for my IB and I really wanna do well. I'm trying really hard now to reorganize things. Pray for me. I want to get right with God on a few other areas which I won't mention.

I encourage others to be more optimistic and if you have any areas that is wrong in your life just come clean with God and ask God to give you strength because He will if you really mean it in your heart.

Well, enough of mini-preaching. Today was supposed to go for tuition but at the point when I reach the centre, only then did I find out that my tutor had smsed me that he was sick and cancelled the tuition. thankfully, I could still go in to photocopy some past year papers to practice Praise the Lord. I woke up pretty late today like around 1.30pm. After I photocopy the papers, I took bus to Marine Parade to eat Kway Chap (YUM was craving for it). After that, walk around Parkway Parade for a while then go home. reach home around 5.45pm watch my 5.30pm drama, then use computer, after that watch Love Blossom 2 and Youtube drama which in way i got myself into watching it. i got it from Yun Ru last time, next week last episode. After that, watch Little Nonya and now I don't know what to do. ok i'm done blogging. Below is another scene from movie Jesus of Nazareth. Today was supposed to be the day when our verdict is released about our new cell groups. I don't know where the rest are going but I'm sure gonna miss everyone. I know I've been trying to encourage myself by encouraging the others as well that it's God's will, but even I can't comfort myself. I need You God to heal my heart. We will always be N262 in our hearts. I've been here only for two years, but I've really been impacted by the effort in everyone trying to be Agape-loving toward each other. It was here I learnt and experience the true meaning of Agape (unconditional love). I just hope I can let go soon. My heart still aches and hurts with a deep wound. My mind is just confused. I must learn to move forward and so must everyone. I love you N262! I mean it! Let's all continue to grow. We may not be in the same cell, but we're still in CHC. I hope to spend a great time with all of you again if we're gonna be in the same subzone. I believe God is pruning us now. We may not feel comfortable, but I believe it is because God wants to help us to get out of our comfort zone and move on and maybe He has something even better prepared for us all. Maybe some of us will be trained to rise up to be cell leaders soon. Thanks Jackie for encouraging me tonight as well. I really needed that although I am still troubled. I'll get over it soon. N262 will always be N262 and I pray you guys will be faithful not just to your new CG but ultimately to God. Love you all my brothers and 2 sisters.

I just came back from cell group and it is already 6 December. ANyway, today is another day of grievance when my cell group has officially disbanded and soon I'll be meeting my new members and cell group leader. I'm really sad to leave this cell group. However, I believe God has allowed it for a purpose. Let His will be done.

N262 holds a lot of memories for me. When I'm alone and I think of our N262, I will recall all the people whom I've seen come and go. The important thing is for N262 to move on with our new cell groups. N262, let's remember the good times we had together. I just feel like crying now. It's really painful somehow to disband. I've never felt this way before. Thank you Yvonne, Cinthia, Nick, Sean and the rest of the group for being part of my life. I pray you all will not lose heart but let's move on together.

We've all got to learn to be stretched. Otherwise, we'll remain shallow, weak, and losers in our comfort zones. A lot has happened in 2008, but I've learnt to let go and move on. "Keep Moving Forward" has been a new message to me from God at the start of this year because He knows I love to give up a lot of times and hold back to the things of the past. God has stretched me. "Keep Moving Forward" has also been my new motto for 2008 and for don't know how long. Writing a book is hard cause you need to be patient when you write and you have to be still otherwise, you'll take forever. Very much it is with life, sometimes writing a new chapter in our lives, require patience in order for our slife stories to be encouraging and interesting to others.

We must learn to expand ourselves through trials and testings. Expand yourselves so you can have a greater capacity for anointing and be used for a greater purpose by God and for God in life. Let God fill your life. Seek Him everyday. Learn to depend on God in everything. Through your trials, never do one thing: Never give up. Unless God has given up on you, don't you dare give up on yourself because the truth is God will never give up.

Today I went for tuition and then I came home. I skipped the first bus and waited for the second one becasue the first one was too full. Watched Little Nonya and now I'm still writing my thing. I pray for God's strength to keep my patient and focus. I want to publish it asap.

So people keep moving forward. ok bye:)

I'm still grieving for N262. The cell group that God first used to drag me out of my previous lifestyle, gave me hope and a family. Now, we are spread out. I'm going to a new cell group E344. I'm positive only because it's near my house now, but I'm still 2 times -ve.

1. N262 is like family to me especially Yvonne, Cinthi, Nick and Sean, who made an impact in my life from the time I first stepped in. God was the one who led me to this church and to this cell. Now, I have to go. :'(
2. I'm going alone to my new cell group. No Nick, no Sean not even any of the other members. No more top singers and no more elmo playing guitar. :'(

God take pity on me a sinner and a dumbo. Give me courage to step out of my comfort zone. Lord, I will follow you still no matter where I am on this earth. I will go wherever you send me. Be with me Lord in Jesus name Amen.

To all my brethren in N262, let's take it as God's will. Maybe God has a plan for us and wants us to learn something from here. Let's take what we've learnt to our new cell groups and continue to grow in faith and in love. The Bible says that His ways are not our ways. He has plans for us. Let's get over our grievances soon and "keep moving forward"

As the year 2008 ends, to everyone I just want to say: every year, every month, week or day there will always be both cheerful and sad moments. At the end of the day, we must know how to start well and finish well. We have to keep moving forward in life. The world won't wait for you. You have to just pick yourself up and move forward. Let's put 2008 behind and expect and hope for a better year in 2009.

Tonight was good BS. We had Spiritual excercise. We got partners and took turns to be led by the Holy Spirit to pray for each other. Nobody says their needs, but we rely on the Holy Spirit totally for the revelation which was really cool. As I prayed for that dude, I could sense God's presence. I felt warmth and fire come upon me as I prophesied and prayed. Really cool.

I went to library in the afternoon to get materials for History IA. Unfortunately, I was supposed to do my work at home. However, I came home and I fell asleep.

Tired even in holidays

I thought it would be better during the holidays. TUrns out not! As long as you're in IB, holidays still remain nightmares. I'm so tired. It is already 2 am int he morning i have almost less than 8 hours of sleep. I still have to wake up at around 10-11 to go library. I gotta study for history and do my history IA. I'm super tired even in my holidays. Still need to wake up early to study and go to places. I'm so tired and bored. I need a new hobby again. I still got to finish my book b4 2008 ends. I gotta prepare for Christmas. COusin's Wedding coming I so happy for her. I WANT TO DO MORE ART! Art itself consumes so much of my time till I dont even have time for it. I want to paint something for my cousin but not sure whether or not I can finish. Just now I went to visit a friend of Nick's. We'll be praying for you Kaijun. Really sad for him especially when one loses someone very close. I pray their hearts will heal quickly.

This year Christmas I not so excited I dont know why. I don't have the same enthusiasm except for service. Maybe it's because I'm growing up another level. God restore the joy in me....

So happy! I can recite the (Jewish) Ten Commandments in Hebrew! :):):) I learning how to write it. I'm thinking of doing Text Art for my next art pieces. I also picking up a bit of Chinese Calligraphy for the benefit of Art. i want to write the (Protestant) Ten Commandments in CHinese. I learning Pastor Phil Pringle's style of palette knife painting as well to do (Protestant) The Ten Commandments in English. My problem now is how to do the Hebrew version for art. Still brainstorming.

To all my friends who are waiting for my book. I 'm sorry for delaying for so long. 3 years already. Don't worry even Pastor Phil also said he took 5 years to finish a book. Dont worry mine will be less than that I hope. I didnt have much time to do it as it has been a tough year for me in school. I'm editing it now. I'm changing a few chapters and I'm done. I know I said I'd try to publish at the end of 2008. I'm trying my best. Just pray for me.

Thanks to Weiloong, Renier, Ky and Nick for being part of our new vision and dream. I'm still trying to get at least 2 to 7 more people to be part of it. We'll discuss everything before 2009 begins.

Christmas is coming and I'm so excited for our Christmas service. I love our church's dramas. The actors are awesome. I hope I get a laptop for Christmas I really need one very badly. Mine became useless 3 years ago and I still have it. Pointless to repair it now because I still need to pay more to upgrade the parts. I'd rather buy a new one that's is more efficient. God I pray for laptop this Christmas.

Year is coming to an end. I'm so worn out. God give me strength to start afresh:)

Wasted 2 days

I'm so frustrated! MDM actually made us come all the way back to school yesterday and today to do a mural. Actually it's not her fault, somehow she too got stuck in the problem too. Basically, the whole art class was supposed to end up helping out with painting the mural at the HDB void deck at one of the blocks. I'm upset because for two days when I could have done my:
1. TOK
2. Extended Essay
3. World Lit
4. 4th and 5th art piece
5. History IA

In the end, I spent two days doing this nonsense and I'm so tired. I still need to revise and catch on all that I missed out in the year for my subjects especially mathematics. I didn't have enough practice this week. Right now, It's 10pm on Friday. It's after sunset and the Sabbath has begun hours ago. Now how to do my work. Maybe I can still do art and chill off, but I'm not cause I want to rest. I'm really tired and I haven't played basketball very often anymore. Well, I still suck even if I play a lot.

Hmmm.....My cheap Akira DVD player is bad quality. CD play cannot play properly. Now so fast cannot use already must buy a new one. I just realized last night that the DVD of my favorite movie, Left Behind 3 (World At War), has scrathes on the disc. No wonder when I was watching, the disc kept on going haywire man. I was so pissed. Now I've to buy a new copy of it again so sad. But I can only buy it next week, when was planning to buy another Christian Movie next week: Revelation.

I'm not sure though if Fireproof is out yet, but it is a really good movie. It has become a hit in the US churches. The story deals heavily on the issue of marriage.

Walao I wish I could get a new laptop now. I don't dare ask my grandfather. I don't want to spend his money again even if I need it urgently for school work and all. He is very reasonable but now also because my hair got color he might not like it. This week got IT fair I planned to go with grandpa tomorrow but I dont dare to ask him. well I do hope God will bless me with a laptop. I need one real bad. Specifically I'm looking for: Aspire, 2GB RAM, 100-120 GB Memory, Intel Dual Core. Ask and you shall receive! God I ask you bless me with this laptop in Jesus name amen:)

I'm so bored now, I think I'll continue writing my book. I haven't done it for a year now because of school. I took a nap earlier, I'm tired. :):):)

No excuse not to work

Today the Lord showed me a passage.

Ecclesiastes 11:4 (NLT)

Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant.
If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.

This is a passage about foolish people who wait for perfect time before they do something. It is such a simple scripture which i believe some people still may not understand. The easiest way to understand this scripture is if you are skilfull enough in mandarin to understand the idiom: 守株待兔

People only want to wait for the opportunity to come but don't want to prepare or seek for the opportunity. The kind of perfect weather farmers look for are less sunny and more rainy weather. With more rain, they don't have to put in so much effort to water the crops. At the end of the day, it simply means "People who idle and wait for chances will never work. If they keep on idling and daydreaming, they will never be fruitful or productive." That's why they look at the clouds. It is to see if the rain is coming.

If you want to be productive, you must learn first to sow your seeds even in times of bad weather. Take risks, even if it means all the effort you have. Take initiative, even if it costs you time and even if it doesn't seem the right season. You never know when the rain might come. If you wait for rainy season and then plant your seed, you will gain nothing because this world is not perfect. The bible also says that there is a season for everything under the sun. Sometimes, it will take some time for the rain to come again.

Today even Christians expect God to do all the miracles while they sit in their comfort zones and idle around. The Bible says it clearly:
"Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant..." which means people who wait for perfect and good timing, never invest effort, time or money in their work or in anything.
"If they watch every cloud, they never harvest." which means the more they daydream and idle and stay in their comfort zone, they never become successful, fruitful or productive.

You must be willing to go through hard work. God himself expects us to be fruitful by working hard.

Joyce Meyer once said on her programme: We need backbone, not wishbone.

If you need a miracle,
step 1: pray and ask God.

2: Put your hands to work. Use your creativity, gifts and abilities and all the ideas you believe you have and put to action.

3. Work on the effort and diligence and continue praying.

4. Watch God do a miracle.

In business, studies or work etc. Whatever your occupation is or whatever you do, if you want to succeed, you must learn something very important and that is to be initiative, diligent and a risk taker. Don't wait, start now! Work hard! Sacrifice! Be Bold (But also cautious)! Most importantly, in all things, give God the glory!

Asia Conference was awesome! I feel so stretched by the preaching, the anointing of God's presence and all the praise and worship. I wished I could have spent more time to talk to more people from overseas but because I was rushing between places especially on Thursday when I had to rush down to my school's Year 5 IB Visual Art Exhibition Opening Night. By God's grace, I still managed to make it back in time that night to EXPO for the full sermon which Rev. Dr. Ulf Ekman was preaching. When people thought Emerge was stretching enough, Asia Conference turned out to be more than that. This whole event just blew my mind away completely.

The workshops also helped me better especially the workshop: Effective Missions and Church Planting, just expanded my capacity. I can't wait to go to Bible School now.

The place was jam packed everyday and for three nights I had to sit in the overflow hall at Hall 10. There was about more than 20,000 people there each night. Furthermore, I almost felt like I was fasting because I hardly got a chance to eat properly until night time becasue there was either too many people queuing up at the buffet or I tried to queue up early.

Even then, I enjoyed it. I came faithfully for every session and I just enjoyed the sermon and most importantly, the impartation of the Holy Spirit. The presence and anointing of God was all over especially during Benny Hinn's service. First time that Saturday night in Hall 10, I felt an anointing that I had been waiting for for quite a while. The tangibility of God's presence just became so thick. People manifested as the power and presence of God came and touched them.

During this Conference, people were healed, people were filled with the anointing of God and much more. So much to describe which is too much for me to type in this blog. I jsut want to say that, I feel really blessed, blown away, impacted, anointed, filled etc. I loved it! WOAH! GOD IS AWESOME!

I can't wait till Asia Conference 2010. TO GOD BE THE GLORY AMEN!

I've returned

I've returned to speak in this blog again.

Just last week, we had a musical in our school - Cabaret-Al-Fresco. It was superbly fun. I screwed up quite a bit. By the grace of God, I overcame every doubt and fear I possibly could. I kind of regret not selling tickets to or inviting my mother and friends. Still, I enjoyed it. What's most important to me was that God was with me and also friends from school who had come to support me. I'm not the best actor but I do hope to achieve something remarkable for God one day in the entertainment world. I love acting whether or not I'm one of the main characters or a cameo. I really enjoy every opportunity God has given to me to train me in my desired career / hobby. God was indeed with me throughout the whole show. He was there helping me to perform my best and at the same time, watching me express my joy on stage. I'm both grieved and glad it is over. Even though I don't have to be nervous or troubled with lines and gestures anymore, but I still miss being a rabbit and a hedgehog in the show. The same goes for Blood Wedding earlier on in 2008. I really miss everything. It seems that 2008 is not such a bad year after all.

ANywya, back to my work now. I'm gonna be pressured(x2) as the exams are coming. I've to do 7 pieces for my ART exam, History IA, Extended Essay, Revise for Exams! ARH!

Hey guess what. God is still a good God. He will never let me be tested beyond what I can bear. I believe GOd will strengthen me and keep me. For I also believe that in times of great pain, God will always be even closer to the one who is in pain. No matter what the test, all things work out for the good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. AMEN!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY. NOW AND FOREVER! AMEN!

Summer goes on only for American Schools

In Singapore, our summer holidays only last for like one month which is a little sad. I enjoyed quite a lot this June Holidays in Singapore and in Chiang Mai. God is always there to excite me. In church, in cell group, at home, in the cinemas, out with friends, basketball court, CAGE etc. God was always there to make me enjoy the holidays. God also blessed me with the opportunity to bring my Dad to church. SO HAPPY. Also, I got to spend time with my friends. Praise The Lord. I love to spend time with people. It's so boring to be alone. That's why I'm happy to be a Christian because no matter where I am alone or with a friend, I know I am never alone because The Holy SPirit is dwelling in me too and God's presence is everywhere.

Well, the good thing is I can get out of holiday mood and get some adventure in LIFE once again. Hallelujah! I really hope I do well for the exams this year. Oh well, if I work hard and trust in God, all things will become possible. I believe everyone is a winner in Christ Jesus our LORD. AMEN!!! God Bless all those starting school tomorrow.

Back to Blogging with Fathers Day

Today after Father's Day I've decided to try blogging more again. Two things I want to share today: Heavenly Father and Earthly Father.

God is indeed the greatest dad in the world. In His Word He promises to never leave nor forsake us. He also says that He would never leave us orphans or fatherless. Pastor Kong's message about God was great. God is indeed a God who has a respected Position and a Plan, and He Provides, Pardons and Protects. These are some of the qualities in my dad. Even though my parents are divorced, I can remember how my dad loved me and cared for me when I was younger before he left the house to be alone now. I thank God for the opportunity to bring my dad to church today I was so touched by God's blessing.

God himself deserves all the glory for all his goodness and great sacrifices. He has a master plan for my life which I am on my way to fulfill now. He has provided for me food, clothing, shelter and all my basic necessities. He even makes sures that there is someone on earth to provide for my education and housing. It is not my mother paying for the bills or the school fees as she is a retiree. There is no breadwinner in the house. Thank God through my relatives, He has blessed me with all my needs and given some of the wants in my life. I know also that I am a sinner and have done many dirty and destructive sins in my life. Yet in spite of all that, God has given me a new life and forgiven me of my sins. He has reconciled me to Him through the death of His Son Jesus Christ who died on the cross for my sins. The wages of sin is death and God has broken the curse of death over my life by slowly leading me into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Till this day, even though there were days when I got upset and doubted God, but I sitll believe He lives because He always shows up at the end of the day. He has also sent leaders to discipline me and teach me righteous things so that I can be more Christ-like. God has also protected from manifold dangers spiritually and physically. From sicknesses caused by harsh weathers and spiritual warfare against the kingdom of darkness, He has always been my shield and my strength. That is the God I know. That is the Fatherly love that I have received from God. He is always right next to me, around me and inside of me. His Holy Spirit dwells inside of me because He has made my body His temple too.

As for my earthly dad, he has done a lot for me in the days of my childhood. He taught me how to be good, and taught me the values of a true man. He always treated me with gentleness and gave me opportunities to try different things. I honor his position in my family. He never forced me to try things force me to be what he wants me to be. Rather, he'd encourage me and to try different hobbies and to just go after my dreams. He always told me to focus hard on my studies in the midst of other things and once I graduate, I can achieve the profession I want in life. He provided food and clothing for me. He paid for my school fees and apart from my mother, he would give me extra pocket money. He would always take me out for supper from Mondays to Fridays. He pardoned me for my mistakes at the same time, he would discipline me with words. He never cursed or swore at me. He never used hurtful words on me. However, he used sternly and seriously scold me and lecture me. My mother would beat me if I did anything wrong. My dad was more patient with me and gentle. He never blew up on me. Just as God is patient, my dad displayed a similar image. As I grew up, my father never really used much of the disciplinary method other than: "You cannot do this if..." or "You cannot go if..." Most of the time, he would mentor me instead. So as he pardons, he teaches. Lastly, he also protects from the cane a lot of times too. He never liked the way my mother beat me and would always try to stop her. One time she beat me with a roll of wrapping paper (very thick), and I ran and hid behind him. There were other occassions when he protected me just that the cane is more significant. Anyway, I'm glad to have celebrated Fathers' Day with both God, my Heavenly father and Lawrence, my Earthly Father.

Easter 2008

Easter was awesome man! The drama was the best ever. I loved it. I had fun playing the crowd but also heartache because had watching the cruxification is a very sad and painful thing. I learned well from the Easter production. I hope the following year I get to play as one of the disciples or the demoniac. Not that I like demons. Nobody likes demons but I know I can act really crazy and scary if I want to. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind being the crowd again or some other side cast. I love acting even though I'm an amateur. It's really fun to act. You can learn the different expressions and emotions. Backstage also not bad. I like it even I never really helped out much during last Christmas. This year's Christmas, I going to help out in backstage not going to run off for holiday this year. Anyway, here are some photos I took during my Easter Weekend.

I haven't blogged for weeks! My internet has been mal-functioning in January and it's finally up again. I am so glad to have my internet back online PRAISE THE LORD!

I just want to wish everyone a happy chinese new year! 恭喜发财！鼠年快乐！万事如意！This week I'll be collecting a lot of hongbaos again. Last friday I wore my Dragonball Z costume in school. This Wednesday will be the second time I'm wearing it in school. I'll put a picture of it up in this blog.

Mid-January

Already into Mid-January and I'm tired. Now I have 5 CCAs. I joined Basketball, Drama, Christian Fellowship, Photo-Journalism and now Oddesey of the Mind. I really want to get this diploma. I'm more stressed out on my Art subject because I'm going to an Arts school next time to do drama and interior design. My drawing skills are still terrible.I pray God will pull me through this.

I made new friends I guess I could call them friends I see them as my friends. Really blending in right now with new people around.

Devotion last thursday was wonderful. I praise God for the resounding testimonies. Dr. Barrett wants me to share the same thing again this Sunday at the school's church service: Preachign Point. He wants it to be added to his topic on Failure.I must confess that all this would not have come to past if it weren't for God and His wonderful revelation to me about Failure. He always knew I was afraid to make mistakes and would blame myself for days when I made a big one. Wel, that's the past, I'm looking forward to a better year with a better start.

The next devotion I'll be helping out with is the class devotion. We are going to be sharing about Poverty. The Lord is our Provider!

I'm quite nervous actually, becasue my IGCSE results will be out next Monday 21 Jan. I hope I get A* for Mathematics.

I've finally been able to blog. I was so happy after hearing the good testimony from those who had listened to the devotion this morning. All the glory goes to God. I feel that every year is a brand new start and I want to achieve my best.

Sianzzz now struggling to finish my homework and get my textbooks. Mathematics textbook costs like S$107.00. My internet is always on and off. One moment I'm able to connect, and the next moment I'm not. ANyway, now I'm just trying to clear up my powerpoint for Art on Monday.

I joined 4 CCAs: Basketball, Christian Fellowship, Photo-Journalism and Drama. I've been waiting for so long to join drama. Hallelujah! I aspire to be a great interior designer and an actor one day. I believe I can make it if I have faith.

I hope I can cope better this year. THe devil is really a life-destroyer trying to stop me from excelling by cutting off my internet. Oh well, now while I have it back, I can still make use of the time to finish up my powerpoint presentation and other things as well. God is good all the time, and all the time GOd is good.

School Term Begins

I hate to admit it, but school begins tomorrow. I really hope that I can go to LaSalle so that I can leave ACS and go to LaSalle. Not that I want to leave, but I have to leave. Anyway, I will just take things a step at a time.

It is a brand new year and I hope that whatever courses or things I do this year, I want to make it the best and better than 2007. I want 2008 to be my best year yet.

I know I do my best, God will handle the rest! YEA!

The beginning of 2008

Happy New Year everyone! As I said in the previous blog, that I would be starting a new one in 2008. THe old blog would have to be deleted, otherwise left there as a momento for me.

I just came back from my trip to Japan. It was an awesome trip! I had lots of fun with my family. THe whole entire family went. COusins, uncles, aunts and grandparents all went. It was great! We went skiing, sushi-and-ramen hunting, exploring the streets of Japan and some of their special attractions.

During about the first two weeks, we went to Tokyo and stayed at a hotel at Roppongi-itchome called Hotel Villa Fontaine Roppongi. It is a nice hotel with a small computer room on the first level. Here is a picture of me inside the hotel.

I went to see Tokyo Tower but I forgot to take a snap shot of it before I left, so you won't see it in this blog. It was fun.

The best place I went to in Tokyo, was Tokyo Disneyland. The only sad thing was, splash mountain wasn't open.

I took a whole lot of shots on it.

I just love the rides at Tomorrowland. Space Mountain was good and the Buzz Lightyear game was fun too.

Fantasyland was beautiful. Right infront of it is the Disney castle.

Before i came back to Singapore, my family went to Noboribetsu. I tell you, it was smelly. Most of us could hardly put up with the smell. I almost puked dude. I went to see Jigokudani (Hell Valley) where the source of all the smelly sulphur came from.
